Since you've been visiting near New Lebanon and Bennington, have you been to the Clark in Williamstown lately to see the new Tadao Ando building? It just opened last month. We were there a few weeks ago and it's really lovely - deceptively simple, set into a hillside. Also, watch for the house and garden tour in Manchester Vt. next year (if they still do it, we went several years ago). It features houses and gardens built in white marble. There's one large house that's all made from marble, and others with marble walls and paths. They are remarkable.

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing the Tadao Ando--he's one of my favorite architects. And thanks for the tip about the Manchester tour--I'll look it up.
